Biography
Canada serves as home base for contemporary country vocalist Jamie Warren. The Canadian Country Music Association named him Outstanding New Artist in 1985 during the earliest stage of his career. After receiving that honor, he maintained a steady schedule of Canadian tours while also issuing independent singles. Strong audience support had developed by the mid-'90s, leading to two Top 20 Canadian hits in 1995 with the singles "Ready to Run" and "What Goes Around Comes Around." One year later, he introduced himself to American listeners through the A&M Records release Fallen Angel.
