Biography
In 1948 the petite blonde from West Virginia named Janet Brace reached New York, where her first engagements placed her alongside the orchestras of Vincent Lopez and Johnny Long. Recognition soon followed through appearances at the Village Vanguard and the Blue Angel, where she performed in a jazz style. She later wed drummer Don MacLean of the Don Elliott Quartet. Her sole jazz album, Special Delivery, appeared on ABC-Paramount in 1956.
