Listen on Coda
For two decades Jeff Waggoner has worked as both a writer and journalist, examining subjects that stretch from Bill Clinton's escapades to Sonny Rollins' improvisations and eventually concluding that musicians and artists represent his genuine heroes. He served as jazz critic for the Albany, New York weekly The Source, signing those pieces with the pen name Sonny Collier.
