Biography
Country singer/songwriter Jennifer Brantley entered a musical household upon her birth in Florida, where she started piano instruction at six years old. Her upbringing unfolded across California and Mississippi, drawing her initially toward gospel sounds through performances and vocal work inside church settings. In 1995 her debut significant stage slot came when she opened for gospel artists David & the Giants at the Hanford Fox Theater in Hanford, CA. Transitioning afterward to secular country material, she cut her debut album, On the Other Side, aided by Tommy Allsup in 2001 before issuing the project independently. December 2001 brought her relocation to Nashville, TN, where she cultivated local club audiences and uploaded songs to sites including www.mp3.com and www.garageband.com. Under Mountainside Productions she delivered her follow-up album, Break Down, on September 4, 2007.
