Distinguished from the country performer sharing her name, Jennifer Day works as an actress, television program hostess, and online personality while expanding into music. Born in Italy to a family of Italian and Polish background, she remained there until age four before her relatives relocated to the United States. Michigan became her childhood home, where her parents, both musicians and educators, regularly performed at wedding receptions and other social functions. She started music and dance instruction at age five, entered the family band, and soon resolved to build a career in music. Following her schooling, she headed to Los Angeles to establish herself in entertainment. Her first screen role arrived in the 2004 horror film Evil Deeds, after which she accumulated steady parts in independent and direct-to-video productions plus scattered television appearances. In 2011 she introduced Jennifer Day TV, a series in which she and companions journey across the country to luxury hotels and resorts for performances in revealing and provocative outfits. Carried on broadcast and cable channels as well as online, the program cultivated a devoted audience and heightened demand for her recordings. Her 2015 single, a cover of Stacey Q’s dance-pop hit “Two of Hearts,” was featured by the dance label Thump Records on Freestyle Explosion, Vol. 8. The track generated sufficient notice for Thump to sign her, with her first album for the label slated for release in 2016.
