Biography
While studying at Amherst College in Boston, Jennifer Kimball joined forces with Jonatha Brooke to establish the folk-pop duo the Story, marking her first appearances as a singer and songwriter in the early 1980s. After the pair obtained a contract with Elektra in 1991 and delivered the major-label albums Grace in Gravity and Angel in the House, the group dissolved in 1993, at which point Kimball shifted focus to individual work and brought out her initial solo recording, Veering from the Wave, in mid-1998.
