Biography
Jennifer Trynin maintains that her melodic pop songs, which typically explore the subject of failed relationships, stem from no genuine influences whatsoever because Cockamamie remains the only album she has ever possessed. She cut the debut herself on her independent Squint label at age 31 while also operating a desktop publishing company. Once the recording reached studio executives, a bidding war erupted over her abilities, after which she signed with Warner Brothers; the label then reissued Cockamamie exactly as first recorded. Gun Shy Trigger Happy appeared in 1997.
