Jeroen van der Boom

Jeroen Van Der Boom first entered the public eye in 1996 as host of the television program Real TV, years before his music career took hold. Born in Nijmegen on June 22, 1972, the Dutch performer achieved widespread pop recognition at home with the 2007 single “Jij Bent Zo.” He had already issued his initial release, “Toekomst,” in 2004, followed by several additional singles. In 2008 he delivered the full-length album Jij Bent Zo, which combined new compositions with covers of songs by Eric Clapton and Queen. The project proved commercially successful and brought Van Der Boom a string of awards and critical praise.
