Jerry Castle

Originating from Abingdon, Virginia, singer/songwriter Jerry Castle established himself in Nashville and performed with the regional outfits the Stumble Biscuits and Toast prior to launching a solo career. In 2004 he issued his first album, Back Side of Down, independently. What became his second full-length project started out as a set of publishing demos aimed at landing covers by other Nashville acts, yet Castle later opted to put the material out commercially himself; Don't Even Ask arrived in July 2010 on his own My World Records imprint. Dualtone Records later took over distribution of the album.
