Biography
Shortly after completing her studies at the L.A. Music Academy, West Coast singer-songwriter Jessica Stone launched her own recording and publishing imprint, Maidenstone Records. The 2002 debut Seven Letters brought listeners her characteristic mix of folk, pop, and jazz while earning the tech-savvy independent artist praise from websites everywhere. Stone moved to the Bay Area in 2004 and took a role on the leadership and development team at internet radio service Pandora. She resumed independent recording in 2009 with the Maidenstone release Melting. Three years afterward her third album, Songs for Wyatt, marked her entry into children’s music, prompted by her toddler son, Wyatt.
