Biography
Jill Olson, who performs as a singer and songwriter, initially gained notice through membership in the folk-pop trio the Stouthearted before serving a term with the Bay Area band the Movie Stars. She next took a turn on bass in John Wesley Harding’s backup band, after which she put out her solo debut The Gal Who Would Be King in 1996 through the eggBERT label.
