Biography
During the 1960s Jim Casey launched his career as a guitarist and songwriter by joining the Norfolk, NE rock group the Smoke Ring. Songs he composed later appeared on recordings by Waylon Jennings, the Oak Ridge Boys, Tompall Glaser, Albert Collins, and Bobby Bare, with several of those tracks created alongside the legendary Shel Silverstein. Casey supplied the award-winning soundtrack for the 1991 movie Sealed With a Kiss and sustained his work writing, recording, and producing music in Nashville, TN.
