Biography
A pianist and vocalist, he cut material for Bethlehem throughout the 1950s, only to step away until a late-1970s return that led to sustained activity across the entire 1980s. Although his playing remained rooted in bebop, he also appeared with a big band and cut dates alongside The Australian Jazz Quartet. The majority of his sessions, however, took place in small-combo settings.
