Biography
From a young age in Boston, Massachusetts, Joe Deveau fused elements of pop and rock, his vocal style evoking Jeff Buckley alongside Stevie Wonder. His fascination with music began in toddlerhood, sparked further by the Star Wars films' scores composed by John Williams, which captivated him during childhood viewings and prompted him to master Beatles songs on his instrument before turning five. Years afterward, enrollment at Berklee College of Music allowed pursuit of studies in voice, composition, and jazz. Performances that succeeded across New England venues, including colleges and nightclubs, resulted in his first album release, Take My Chances from 2003, followed by relocation to Los Angeles.
