John Chibadura

After spending his early years herding goats owned by his father, Chibadura took a job driving trucks once his formal education ended. Relocating to Harare in 1980 exposed him to the city's thriving music community, which prompted him to begin performing himself. He assembled the Tembo Brothers Band in 1981 and quickly earned recognition through several successful LPs. Two U.K. tours followed in the late 1980s, accompanied by the release of several popular albums in that market.
