Biography
Before establishing himself in Vancouver's vibrant alt-country community, John Guliak devoted the majority of his performing life to the Canadian "prairie folk scene." Earlier projects that featured his contributions included Prairie Coma, Stan Rodgers' Closet, and Red Nixon Presents. There he joined forces with the Lougan Brothers to create The Black Monk (2002), the first album he placed with Mint Records.
