Biography
After Marmoset entered a period of inactivity following their 2001 release Record in Red, singer/songwriter/guitarist Jorma Whittaker started developing solo projects. He enlisted LonPaul Ellrich, a previous Marmoset member whose credits also include June Panic and His Silver Sound, Mysteries of Life, and Sardina, to produce the recordings while drawing on additional Marmoset associates to complete the lineup. Once the sessions wrapped, Whittaker relocated from Michigan to Brooklyn, NY. His self-titled effort Jorma Whittaker appeared in Summer 2003 via Secretly Canadian, the same imprint that houses Marmoset.
