Jt Roach

Originally hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, JT Roach cultivated his skills on guitar and vocals during high school and college years before relocating to Chicago in search of professional opportunities in music. A subsequent move across the country brought him to Los Angeles, where he secured a publishing agreement with BMG Chrysalis and established a reputation among songwriting professionals through contributions to projects by Emily Warren, Jason Derulo, Nicky Romero, Krewella, and Jake Miller.

This Los Angeles-based performer crafts hushed indie folk interwoven with soulful electronic elements reminiscent of Bon Iver and James Vincent McMorrow, having previously built a track record penning material for artists including Jason Derulo and Emily Warren. His independent path began in 2017 via the understated, harmony-rich acoustic number "Tipsy Love," which introduced his debut EP, Witches Lake, issued later the same year. Additional releases such as the 2018 tracks "Chapel" and "Symmetry" continued along comparable lines of rich, introspective folk-pop.
