Juanita Williams

Juanita Williams might appear to be an emerging talent within the blues world, yet her exceptional first recording for the Big Mo imprint, Introducing Juanita Williams, immediately demonstrates her seasoned expertise. Over the preceding two decades, she has served as the primary singer for the Airmen of Note, the renowned ensemble of the Air Force that traces its origins to Glenn Miller. Her initial vocal experiences occurred within church settings, though artists such as Etta James and Aretha Franklin gradually drew her toward popular music forms. Still, the distinctiveness of Williams's vocal style, fervor, and vitality sets her apart entirely.
