Juarez Moreira

Born in 1954 in Guanhães, Brazilian guitarist Juarez Moreira relocated to Belo Horizonte during his teenage years to pursue schooling and musical studies. His initial professional break arrived in 1978 via a performance with pianist Wagner Tiso, after which he earned recognition as a composer and independent solo artist. The albums released exclusively in Brazil comprise Nuvens Dourados, Aquarelas, and Samblues, while his first U.S. and international release, Bom Dia, came out in 1998 on the Malandro label.
