Biography
Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, the rapper Judge Da Boss began his professional path through an East Coast link by issuing his first material on Hypocalypto Records, the imprint belonging to New York Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire. His given name is Robert Louis Carr III. He claimed victory in Hypocalypto’s “Chosen One” competition during 2010 and put out the mixtape The Chosen One that year; the next year he reworked Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” beat into the popular Knicks tribute “Stat and Melo.” His song “Retard Money” appeared on the Movie 43 soundtrack two years afterward, and in 2014 he secured a Sony contract before dropping the single “Hell Yeah.”
