Biography
Robert Stigwood oversaw the Junco Partners among the earlier British acts under his management. Their recordings for the EMI-Columbia label display a blues-rooted approach tinged with folk elements, recalling a latter-day skiffle outfit. The group featured singer/organist Bob Sargent, who subsequently joined the Mick Abrahams Band, and guitarist Charlie Harcourt, whose prior credits include Jackson Heights and the second Lindifarne lineup during the Warner Bros. years.
