Biography
Blending traditional Jewish folk with crime-jazz and hyper active polka produced the eccentric cocktail sound of The Kabalas. Inspired additionally by the humorous antics of The Marx Brothers and The Three Stooges, Dionysus Records put out the band's inaugural double album Martinis & Bagels during 1996. Eye of Zohar, an EP, followed on the same label in 1997, and Time Tunnel came after that in 1999.
