Kalashnikov

Hailing from Portugal, Kalashnikov assembled for the first time in Lisbon during 1996 and immediately billed themselves as a "loud and proud" self-proclaimed "pioneer of wartime rock n'roll." Bazuca on guitar, Bruxa on bass, Cobra on guitar, Duro on vocals, and Rambo on drums carried their "war metal" — along with the humorously fitting stage names — to stages across the map and, after those tours, issued their first album, Oh Yeah Motherfucker!!! In 2008 the group delivered that sound to fervent crowds at the South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, TX.
