British vocalist Karl Loxley first captured widespread attention during the 2015 season of The Voice UK through a commanding take on "Nessun Dorma," an appearance that paved the way for several album releases, among them Solo Amore in 2019 and the festive outing Christmas two years later.

Raised in Coventry, he completed studies at the Guildford School of Acting before spending years singing at residential homes and working-men's clubs throughout England alongside employment at a supermarket. That same year he auditioned for the BBC competition, impressing the panel once more with "Nessun Dorma." Placed on Tom Jones' team, he exited during the knockout rounds, yet the exposure prompted the swift release of his first full-length project, 2016's Everything I Am. While maintaining a steady schedule of live dates, he began preparing his next collection, Solo Amore, recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and featuring both classical and theatrical standards alongside fresh versions of pop material. Issued in 2019, the set entered the U.K. Classical Top Ten immediately and led to appearances on national radio and television plus concerts across the country. His third effort, Christmas, arrived at the close of 2021 and centered on seasonal classics and holiday pop songs, notably John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" and Chris de Burgh's "A Spaceman Came Travelling."
