Biography
Originating in Texas, the six-piece all acoustic country ensemble The Karl Shiflett & Big Country Show has remained anchored in its foundational bluegrass traditions. The band first assembled in 1993 and earned broad recognition throughout country music after securing a contract with Rebel Records and issuing its self-titled debut album in 1999.
