Biography
Karry Walker, an ambient folkie rooted in Northern California, made her initial appearance in 1996 through the independently issued Informaldehyde. Notice arrived two years afterward when she placed as a finalist in the yearly Sisters Folk Festival Songwriting competition. Further distinctions followed at the debut Sierra Songwriters event, where she captured top honors in three divisions—one of them “Most Unique Songwriter,” reflecting her assured mix of acoustic guitar and understated electronic textures. After signing with Ubiquity she issued Lipsbury Pinfold in 1999.
