Kathryn Rose launched her musical journey at seventeen by assembling a band of her own. Her early efforts spanned advertising tunes for television as well as contributions to cinema and theater productions. Joining Wind May Do Damage in 1992 led to the release of their debut album bearing the group's name. Transitioning to individual projects, she issued Every Lurid Detail during 1997. Known by the phrase "dark queen of subtlety," she put out My Little Flame four years later. In addition, Rose collaborates with Orchestra London and has shared stages alongside figures including Ron Sexsmith, Paul Brandt, and Damhnait Doyle.
