Biography
Katy Winter, the Swiss singer and celebrity, first gained widespread attention by advancing to the finals of the television contest MusicStar across 2003 and 2004. An uneven sequence of recordings came next, launched by her opening full-length effort Private in 2005. That project met limited commercial interest, registering just two weeks on the Swiss album rankings and reaching a high of number 82. Several years afterward she reemerged with the Top 25 single "Simply Irresistible."
