Biography
Formed in Waco by a sextet of Mexican players drawn from Rio Grande and San Luis Potosi, the onda grupera outfit Kazanova issued its first album, Desiertos de Tristeza, through the independent Joey Records label in 2000. Not long afterward, “Sin Ti” registered as the band’s initial hit.
