Biography
Originating from Canada, Kenny Butterill first built his following through digital channels while working as a songwriter. During the final years of the 1990s he produced his debut album, No One You Know, which included the single “How Far Can We Go?” that drew praise throughout Europe and Canada. That recording became the earliest Americana-format crossover to top the charts on the European side of the Atlantic. Settled in seclusion among the Santa Cruz mountains of northern California, he issued his next project, Just a Songwriter, at the start of 2003.
