Blending trap, reggaeton, Afrobeat, and additional styles, the Honduran urbano artist Key-Key crafts tracks centered on daily life. He entered the music scene during the mid-2010s and built a wider audience near the start of the new decade through drops such as the single "Caramelo," the 2020 EP Bombas del Tiempo, and the rhythm-driven MUSICARIO (2021). His most pronounced rise arrived via the 2024 release "Tengo un Plan," which reached the upper tier of Billboard’s TikTok ranking.

Born in El Triunfo de La Cruz, Honduras, Key-Key began laying down tracks during adolescence and later surfaced on streaming platforms via M.A.C Productions with the early-2020 cuts "Caramelo" and "Cometelo Callao." Subsequent EPs arrived swiftly: Bombas del Tiempo in 2020, which included ESpectro and KBP, followed by the 2021 solo projects MUSICARIO and BLUEFACE (containing "Tu y Yo"). He shifted labels to Legal Music Group during this period. Streams had already reached several hundred thousand by the time "Caer" appeared in 2022; those figures escalated into the tens of millions after the seductive early-2024 track "Tengo un Plan" went viral, generating widely played reworkings that featured Ozuna and Twenty Six. Within months it attained the number-16 spot on the Billboard TikTok Top 50.
