Biography
Detroit-based producer K.I.D.D. first gained entry to the music business through Southern rap, above all via former Cash Money Hot Boy B.G. After Hurricane Katrina forced the rapper’s move from New Orleans to Detroit, B.G. encountered K.I.D.D.’s beats and was sufficiently impressed to enlist the Detroit producer for the bulk of Livin' Legend (2003). K.I.D.D. also supplied tracks to B.G.’s next two albums, Life After Cash Money (2004) and The Heart of tha Streetz, Vol. 1 (2005). Additional productions appeared on Tone-Tone’s Skoolz in Session (2004), Royce da 5'9"’s Independent's Day (2005), Stephanie K’s Intrigue (2005), K-Deezy’s Stuck in My Ways (2006), Blade Icewood’s Blood, Sweat, Tears (2006), and the Chopper City Boyz’ We Got This (2007).
