Biography
Originating in France, Kill the Thrill first assembled in 1989. Though chiefly tied to the industrial scene, the band explored far beyond it, touching on alternative rock, ambient goth, darker new wave, and outright heavy metal. Such adventurous range naturally drew a narrow yet receptive audience to their infrequent studio releases, among them Dig (1993), Low (1996), 203 Barriers (2003), and Tellurique (2005). By the release of Tellurique the lineup had settled around longtime participants Marylin Tognolli (bass, programming, vocals), Nicolas Dick (lead vocals, guitar, programming), and Frédéric De Benedetti (guitar, vocals).
