Biography
Kimberly Scott, recognized early on as a child prodigy, stepped onto a stage for the very first time at age five and secured her initial recording contract prior to her eleventh birthday. Born in Maryland, she drew notice at the Apollo Theater, where she claimed five victories in the amateur-night contest and subsequently joined the Longevity imprint of Columbia Records. After supporting Immature on tour, she issued her self-titled debut album at the start of 1998.
