Kind Of Blue

Originating in Hamburg during the late 1990s, the German pop/rock band Kind of Blue was founded by guitarist Bernd Klimpel, drummer Frank Spinngiess, and vocalist Katrin Holst, taking their name from Miles Davis's landmark modal jazz album and exhibiting a sound somewhat reminiscent of the Cardigans. Katrin Holst eventually departed, making way for Polish singer Lidia Kopania to take over vocal duties. The band's discography features the albums Indigo, In Sight, and Beating the Morning Rush.
