Biography
Although she earned a finance degree after finishing college, bluesy singer/songwriter Kirsten Thien built her standing in the music world through the appeal of her sultry croon. A distinctive mix of rock, pop, and blues took shape on her debut album She Really Is, released in 2003 as a set of carefully shaped stories about life and love driven by the force of her singing. That effort was succeeded in 2005 by You've Got Me, another release of comparable strength.
