Biography
Formed in 2006 in the German town of Reutlingen, the hard rock and metal group Kissin' Dynamite took its name from an AC/DC track. The current members are vocalist Johannes Braun, guitarists Andre Braun—Johannes’ brother—and Jim Müller, bassist Steffen Haile, and drummer Andreas Schnitzer. While the five musicians were still attending high school, they started mailing demo recordings to record companies in 2007, an initiative that swiftly resulted in a signing with Capitol/EMI. Their first album, Steel of Swabia, appeared in 2008. The follow-up, Addicted to Metal, arrived in 2010, reached number 91 on the charts, and included a guest spot from former Accept frontman Udo Dirkschneider. In 2012 the band issued its third album, Money, Sex & Power, which entered the charts at number 50.
