Biography
Klique was an obscure R&B group from the early 1980s whose lineup featured Howard Huntsberry, Debbie Hunter, and Isaac Suthers. The trio focused on soul and funk material designed specifically for dancing and put out a total of three albums over their existence: It's Winning Time in 1981, Try It Out in 1983—which featured the well-known track "I Can't Shake This Feeling"—and Love Cycles in 1985. Their only Top Ten success came via a rendition of Jackie Wilson's "Stop Doggin' Me Around," a song that later appeared on multiple '80s compilation albums such as Billboard Hot R&B Hits 1983 and R&B Crossover Oldies, Vol. 1.
