The production outfit Klubbheads, consisting of three members, notched several prominent club successes throughout Holland in the closing years of the 1990s, in addition to generating chart entries for various other acts. Prior to uniting with Jan Voermans in 1995 to establish the collective, Addy van der Zwan and Koen Greonveld had already logged several years crafting recordings in the early part of that decade, among them the Dutch Top 20 entry "The Ultimate Seduction." Once together, the three put out multiple 12-inch releases via the Blue imprint under a variety of aliases such as Itty Bitty, Boozy Woozy, Greenfield, Joy, and more. Their initial major success under the Klubbheads name arrived with the 1997 track "Klubbhopping," which gained traction throughout Europe and climbed into the U.K. Top Ten. The group also handled production duties on six Dutch Top Ten hits for DJ Paul Elstak, delivered the chart-topping singles "U Got My Love" and "The Launch" for DJ Jean, and reworked material from numerous creators including Armand van Helden, Josh Wink, 2 Unlimited, and the Vengaboys. Further successes from the late 1990s under the Klubbheads banner encompassed "Discohopping," "Kickin' Hard," "Raise Your Hands," "Big Bass Bomb," and "Hiphopping," among additional tracks. In the summer of 2001, the trio issued their debut album-length project, Front to the Back, which compiled their major hits and came packaged with an extra disc containing videos.
