Biography
Knowlton Bourne, a Mississippi native, fuses earthy, travel-friendly Americana with melody-driven jangle and power pop, letting his unhurried Southern accent and instinctive pop sensibility occupy the overlap between independent heartland twang and garage punk abrasion. Growing up in a household steeped in music, he absorbed a broad range of sounds during his youth, from classical works to the output of Brian Eno and Wire. Still in his late teens, he entered the public eye as a musician in 2013, later signing with Misra, the label that put out his first album, Songs from Motel 43, in 2015.
