Biography
Hailing from Seattle, Kris Orlowski crafts earthy, honest, and emotionally resonant folk-pop pieces layered with dense harmonies and shaped by a distinctly cinematic perspective. Before assembling the Kris Orlowski Band in 2010 alongside Greg Garcia, Mark Isakson, Torry Anderson, and Tyler Carroll, the singer/songwriter issued several EPs that earned strong praise. The ensemble, frequently likened to Matt Nathanson, Wild Feathers, and Josh Ritter, unveiled its first full-length effort, Believer, in early 2014.
