Krrum crafts an off-kilter yet catchy brand of pop that evokes influences ranging from Gorillaz to Jai Paul and SOPHIE. His early experiments with music took place during his upbringing in England's Peak District, gaining greater seriousness after relocating to Leeds to pursue his education. Krrum adopted his stage name from his time employed at a butcher shop, even as he developed his material and worked alongside fellow musicians. The year 2015 saw the release of his first single, "Morphine," which preceded the Evil Twin EP that 37 Adventures put out in the early part of the next year. Several months afterward came three additional songs: the tender ballad "Hard on You," his interpretation of Flume's "Never Be Like You," and "Still Love." During 2017, Krrum put out the more upbeat track "Moon" while also teaming up with Daktyl for the title song on the producer's The Act of Hesitation EP. Krrum's first album, Honeymoon, came out in June 2018.
