Hailing from California, rapper Ktlyn has built a following of millions online with her lighthearted and relaxed delivery. She regularly shares clips of herself layering fresh verses over well-known tracks, and her contribution to Russ’s “Handsomer” impressed the track’s creator enough that he issued an official remix, sending the song onto the charts in 2022.
Born in San Francisco, Ktlyn began posting freestyles and reworkings of other artists’ material around 2017. Her audience grew steadily, and cuts such as “Bluntly” and “Boppin” each passed the million-stream mark. Early in 2022, Russ shared a snippet of “Handsomer” on TikTok and invited listeners to submit their own guest verses; Ktlyn’s entry proved the most popular.
