Biography
After developing his abilities as a rapper during time spent in South Carolina, Gemini returned to the Bronx in 2001 and joined Kuwait to form the duo Kuwait & Gemini. The pair quickly secured a three-year deal with Stop Records and issued their debut album U and I Verse the following year. That project emphasized Kuwait & Gemini's intricate wordplay and strong lyrical substance. The young duo, shaped most strongly by the Wu-Tang Clan yet also drawing from other East Coast rap acts such as Mobb Deep and Nas, enlisted producer Paul Morrison to handle the album.
