Biography
Chicago English horn player Kyle Bruckmann crafts a distinctive approach that fuses classical foundations with punk and Dada elements, drawing creative impetus from acclaimed figures including George Crumb, Guillermo Gregorio, and John Cage. He has joined forces with numerous collaborators such as Michael Zerang, Jim Baker, and Jeb Bishop, and even contributed to lo-fi rocker Smog’s 2001 album Rain on Lens. Entymology appeared in 2000 as his initial solo recording.
