La Barra

In September 1994 the Argentine tropical ensemble La Barra took the stage for the first time, issuing a self-titled album the following month and then releasing Asi Me Gusta A Mí in 1995. Fronted by vocalists Javier Brizuela and Daniel Guardia, the group emerged as one of the nation’s strongest commercial draws by the close of the decade, mounting extensive domestic tours and supplying the song “No Me Pregunten Como Es Mi Muchacha” to the Rodrigo tribute collection Todos Juntos Con Rodrigo. Sony Music Argentina issued the band’s El Rompehuesos in 2001.
