Biography
In 1999 the Quito, Ecuador-based trio of drummer Pablo, vocalist-guitarist Miguel, and bassist Juanse first assembled under the name la Escuela. Citing NOFX and No Use for a Name as their chief inspirations, they became the first act to sign officially with the polarizing Lost and Found Records. Their self-titled debut album appeared within a year of the band’s formation.
