Biography
German-born multi-instrumentalist Alex Olmedo launched the Spanish power pop outfit La Naranja China after entering the local rock circuit in the early 1990s as frontman of Los Tonicos. He next issued the album Sonidos de Delirio as Banana Slip, incorporating the title of Alejandro Amenabar’s film Yo Mismo. La Naranja China made its first appearance in 2000 via a self-titled LP on the independent imprint Cuatro Gatos Records.
