Biography
La Orquesta Joven formed as a merengue ensemble and issued multiple albums across the early 1990s, among them 3RA Oportunidad in 1991, 7 Anos Contigo in 1992, ¡Guayao Varon! in 1994, and Pa' los Que Decían in 1997. Chano, Fhey, Joel, and Neit made up the core membership, enabling the Bronx, NY-based outfit to maintain activity well into later years while occasionally appearing under the billing La Orquesta Joven & Chano.
